Sidekick LX doesn't say when fully charged?

I just got a sidekick lx a few days ago and when ever i charge it, the battery icon on the top right never tells me when its fully charged. the lightning bolt stays there and the bars in the battery icon keep filling in repeatedly from left to right. its says in the owners manual that the lightning bolt will go away and the bars will stop moving and remain in the filled position when its fully charged (the bars keep moving and the lightning bolt is still there on my sidekick). the first time i charged it, i left it on the charger for almost 24 hours until i got tired of waiting and i just took it off, whenever i charge it, i have to keep taking it off the charger to see how full the battery icon is. does anyone whats wrong? please help.

the battery bars should stop moving when is full

mine does the same exact thing, i just ignored it after a while and when i got 4 bars i just assume its charged

i dont think a lx ever tells when it is fully charged
