Sidekick LX question?

I have a question about an upgrade. I have had a sidekick SLIDE for a few months now. I would like to get a sidekick LX. If I extend my contract for whatever amount of years (I think 2yr, if anyone knows this please tell me), can I get a new LX for the 249.99 ???
