I would recommend the BlackBerry Pearl, specifically the 8120 if you are using T-Mobile. It has a whole host of features on it including video recording, instant messaging, picture messaging, web browsing, listening to music, watching videos, and much more.

I like the Pearl for its small size. It is a great device.
