Sidekick slide.. or the 2008 one?

I think the T-mobile 2008 is more robust than the Slide. So that might be the better phone for you. Although, i think it won't be able to withstand being dropped several times. it's also got better features than the slide and those customizable shells are cool. The Slide 2008 has improved Web browsing plus video recording, playback, and sharing capabilities.

however, if you're really prone to dropping your phone I think you should look for a military spec handset that is resistant to shock.
