Sidekick slide owners help!?

Question

So I want download some songs onto my phone but when i hook up the USB cord it doesn't respond. As in it doesn't say anything on my phone and it doesn't do anything... any suggestions?

if your sidekick came with a disc try installing software onto your computer and if not try lugging it into a different usb hub.
