Sidelight in spotlight in the Bags Track Championship Puppy
Backing of trainer, Chris Allsopp, and the 2 to 5 odds in the Grade IR Bags Track Championship Puppy, have made the year-old bridle b***h, Sidelight, the most appealing contestant of the 480 metres flat contest. The race with the total prize money of £200 is scheduled for Tuesday, 6th November.
The locals in the line-up include, Heathmill Honcho and Swift Adidas, the latter has drawn the sixth trap to race from tonight.
The brindle b***h of trainer, Chris Allsopp, has proved her worth, ability and potential in very short span of time as she joined the racing career just this season in June. She took off with the Grade T races and then progressed gradually.
Her first career success was in the Grade A3 Sue Westwood Diamond Jubilee Trophy on 18th August, 2012 at Monmore over 480 metres. Entered as the favourite, she set into an early pace, and then led on from the first position, collecting the title in 28.40 seconds.
The favourite entry defeated the sixth trap, Glenhead Bona, by 3 ¾ lengths.
Hondo Black’s brindle daughter then cleaned hands on the winner’s prize money of a Grade A2 480 metres flat race on 30th August, 2012 at Monmore over 480 metres.
Taking flight from the third trap, the year-old was quick to pick up the lead and complete the trip in 28.64 seconds. Missing the chance due to two lengths was, Ellens Guard.
The brindle b***h out of, Borna Fence, proved her exceptional class by landing a Grade A1 480 metres flat race on 13th October, 2012 at Monmore over 480 metres.
Racing in the blue jacket, Sidelight set pace according to the field requirements within no time, and made the transit to the other end in 28.27 seconds. She defeated Final McCoy only by a head’s mark.
Training winners comes naturally to trainer, Chris Allsopp, who has won many prestigious races. Sidelight will race in the same colours as her last winning attempt, and the drill at the race course on 29th October, 2012 must have improved her confidence further.
