Sidney Crosby is the biggest jerk in hockey!?

Question

He is over paid doing NHL, Gatorade, Reebok, Sportchek commercials!! I do not want him to win the Stanley Cup too early...give it another 2-3 years. What do u think?

Crosby a jerk? I cant believe i just read that. He took less money then he is worth, so the pens would have more money for the cap. Does that sound like a jerk to you? He has no off the ice issues,he does all kinds of work for charity. Does that hake him a jerk? He got the city of Pittsburgh interested in hockey again. Does that make him a jerk? He is the face of the NHL, and the best player in the world, and your team don't have him. So to you that makes him a jerk. You can hate the pens all you want. In my opinion, that makes you a JERK. why would him doing commercials have anything to do with the fact that he is a talented hockey player. Im not a fan of his, but I will say that he is talented. Age has nothing to do with deserving to win the stanley cup, he's got talent which is what it takes to win Lord Stanleys Cup. So I don't agree with you at all, yeah I know Im going to get thumbs downs and whatever but as a hockey player and somewhat of a wings fan, I totally disagree with you!

Why hate on Crosby and say he is overpaid when there are people like Paris Hilton in the world? As for saying he is too young, his achievements far exceed certain other players on both the Penguins and Wings, despite not having played in the league as long. The only reason your saying he is too young is because he is a superstar. If he was a regular rookie it wouldn't matter if he won the Stanley Cup.

Over rated, over paid maybe.  But not the biggest jerk.  

Too many people to choose from for that.  Pronger, Avery, Chelios, Modano...

And I think I already successfully used my "I don't want that jerk to win the cup" pick once or twice this year.

However, I am almost ready to do the opposite.  As in, if Chelios would retire if he wins it, then it is worth it to me to give it to him.

I don't see how being over paid makes him a jerk.  If someone offered you $1 million to do a job you'd do for $1000, wouldn't you take it?

He's marketable, and considering his age, he is doing very well with the media.  I wouldn't be too upset to see him win it this year.

why does everybody that isnt a Pens fan hate Sid?  Jealousy?  YES IT IS.  He is doing great things for hockey and he has the city in an uproar.  I have been a Pens fan all my life b/c they are my hometown team and through thick and thin I have watched.  So when Sid holds that cup in the air whether it is in a week or two or in a few years, its all well deserved.  Your not going to stop hearing his name for a long time so get used to it.  LETS GO PENS

-He isn't my favorite but I have to admit he is amazing

-He is a nice clean cut kid

-He doesn't go out an party hardy

-He is honest

-He is so nice to the fans

-He will stop and sign an auto for you

-He is just way to far advanced in maturity than he should be

-He isn't rude

-He is a clean player

-He would rather see someone else score that is why he passes so much

-He gives up shot for himself so someone else can score

-He is supportive of his team (he should be some aren't..not pens)

-He is just an all around great player
