I am volunteering and going out to Siem Reap for 3 weeks to help out at the local orphanages and at the end of the work, I will have 3 days left to spend in Siem Reap, if anyone has done this route, where would you suggest I head to before I return to London, any advice please is welcome.

Thanks.

  1. I agree with lil dinosaur. Angkor Wat is the most impressive thing I have ever seen. You could, if you wanted to, spend three days looking round and still not see everything I did two and think that I chose the right amount of days.

I recommend getting up at about 5am to see the sunrise over the main temple, awe inspiring. Also if you want to see one or two of the temples with a few less people around start with the temples futher away from the town as everyone seems to view the temples in a similar order.

  2. After siam reap , I  went to Pnom Penh which is a nice  city and I did all the killing field tour by tuk tuk, stayed at the gorgeous raffles hotel,Dine by the river.Do it by the battambang river route or take a bus.

  3. i would go to Angkor watt!

    its a main attractiion there!

its soo cool. theres even elephant rides there.

    it'd be a great experience. :D

  4. I would suggest a trip to Bangkok an hours flight or a couple of hours on the bus, if you get the bus you may want to stay at one of the beaches at Rayong or Ko Samet

    Have a great time

Just be very careful in siam Reap so much begging and paople trying to rip you off
