Siemens Gigaset C35 frenquency?

Hi, I have purchased a set of 3 Siemens Gigaset C35 in France. Now I am in South Africa. I have installed them but when I use my mobile to ring the landline it does not ring. Everything else works. Siemens says the frequency is different and need to be changed. Anyone would know how to do this?

South Africa has a different line interface ring voltage and impedance with France. Not the frequency. Just keep the old landline phone connected to receive the ring and will serve as your ringer.

If you are familiar with telephones, you can open and modify the ring detection circuit. It is not software programmable.
