Siemens Gigaset S44 is it a phone? Where do you plug in the phone cable?

I picked up all these Siemens Gigaset S44s for dirt cheap. I thought they were phones. They look like phones.. I wanted to plug one in and use it. But is it a phone or something I'm not familiar with? Where do you connect it to your phone line??? The instructions don't seem to say anything about this...

I also got a Gigaset C340. Is that a phone?

And these things, whatever they are, came with a Gigaset M34 USB which appears to be some kind of accessory for use with one or all of these 'phones'. I have no idea what to do with it. The instructions all assume that I already know what these things are. But if they're not phones, then I don't know what they are for, and I need instructions telling me what exactly they are.

sounds like you picked up the extensions rather then the Main base-unit....if I hear "cheap" then I figure it gotta be just the phone extensions only!!! You can tell if the phone only has a cradle and the power-supply!

The base is usually larger with a RJ-45 cable.....(Cat5)
