Siffleur takes the spotlight of the Stadium Bookmakers 480 metres Trophy – Heat 1
The limelight candidate for the first heat of the Stadium Bookmakers 480 metres Trophy is the three-year-old black and white dog, Siffleur. Competing alongside him for the £125 prize money are Head Iton Eoin, Swift Frogma, Bowtime Regan, Envy Apple King and Salacres Smooth.
Seasonal debut of College Causeway’s son was in the Grade A4 Early Week Bistro Deal 570 Round 1 Heat 2 on 27th January at Harold’s Cross over 569 yards. The three-year-old ended fourth after racing for 32.67 seconds while the race was won by, Trick Diamond, in 31.79 seconds.
The first success of the black and white dog was in a 480 metres race at Peterborough on 2nd April, 2012. After taking off from the fourth stall, the three-year-old raced from the middle and then led, timing the track distance in 28.81 seconds with 12 ½ lengths under his belt.

The trainer, A. Stone, in order to retain the form of his under charge, drilled him over 305 metres at Nottingham on 14th April, 2012. This distance, Siffleur raced through in 18.37 seconds.
He then won a 500 metres race on 23rd April, 2012 at Nottingham. He led right on after leashing from the second gate and concluded the race in 30.64 seconds. Missing the race by 3 ¾ lengths was, Droopys Clive.
Out of b***h, Legal Moment, the three-year-old qualified as the runner-up on 28th April, 2012 over 500 metres at Nottingham. The race was won by Droopys Clive in 30.95 seconds as he won by the margin of two lengths.
After missing the next two races, the A. Stone trained was tuned over 305 metres at Nottingham on 16th June, 2012.
The most recent and until yet final victory was in the Grade A2 Betfredpoker.Com Stakes on 14th July, 2012 at Nottingham over 500 metres. The favourite entry broke from the third stall and was the first one to lead for the remaining distance, reaching the other end in 30.33 seconds while leading by five lengths.
Settling the closest after racing for 30.73 seconds was, Magical Polly.
His chances for dominating the race today are 7 to 1.
