Question:

Sig P230 .380 blued - $350 used, good price?

Hey guys, I just put $50 down on a used Sig P230 blue steel .380, 1 mag only. They had it tagged at $390, but I got them down to $350. Is this a decent price for a used blued steel P230. Another local gun shop had a new P232, also blue steel for $500, but I figured I'd save the $150 for a used Sig.

Thanks.

  1. I always either go to

    www.auctionarms.com

    www.gunbroker.com

Just browse around and see what the average price is.

They have everything from NIB to Poor

  2. the price for a used P230 is about 300 if it is the sl version "stainless steel it is worth 350. A good thing to remember is that the new P232 mags work just fine in the P230. I also own a P230 is one of the most accurate guns you will ever buy. The only drawback is it's small 380 round but that is okay for protection if you buy jhp rounds. I also like it as concealed gun nobody will ever know that you are carrying it.

  3. Check the new prices for the Sig you're looking at. Obviously Sigs are very expensive, but they are extremely reliable. I've read articles about how Sig pistols have undergone the 10,000 round test (10,000 rounds fired straight through it, no cleaning or anything) and have never jammed. They are very reliable and accurate guns, so they're worth the money.

  4. If the pistol is in excellent condition that is a reasonable price for the .380acp Sig.
