Alright again, I've already asked sort-of and nothing is working.

The problem: Right now, I'm using a PC that's hooked up by a cable to the router, which is connected to the modem. The problem is my other desktop (vista) in my room, is not getting the internet signal, but it can connect. It has no internet, and has been doing this for-ever, and it's annoying me really much since I have to fix it. Note: The vista desktop is using a wireless adapter usb. (Linksys Wireless)

I've called Linksys, they told me it was tcp/ip, I talked to dell and they said they have no idea, they've tried everything to be honest, I did the ipconfig , renew and everything etc. that is possible, and I have no idea what to do. This is REALLY frustrating me because I don't want to call someone in and for them to just mess something more up, even though I think I'm doing that.

I've changed the ip's and everything possible.

My Linksys Router is Hooked up to A Motorola modem.

(more details give me a second)

  1. Your tcp/ip is fine..lol. Your getting an ip address from your router and your connecting.

    Try flushing your dns.

    Ipconfig /flushdns

    Ipconfig /renew

    That should resolve some issues.

I hope this helps, good luck
