Question:

Sighseeing in Geneva, Switzerland?

I will have 1 full day to kill in Geneva, Switzerland on 26th Nov Sunday and am keen to go on a sighseeing tour to see the famed Swiss alps/ Cablecar ride/ Chocolate factory and see the countryside rather than the city. The internet shows that no organised tours exist for that date. Can someone here give me some tips/ ideas since I am adventurous enough to venture on my own if I can see some sights. I leave tomorrow and so will need some quick answers.

  1. if you're only 1 day there i would suggest to visit Zermatt where the world famous Matterhorn is located. btw, i would travel to Zermatt only when it's beautiful weather, otherwise it could be the Matterhorn is hidden in fog.
