Ulm is a really fun city. The cathedral, whose church spire is the tallest in the world, is magnificent. You can still climb the stairs to get to the very top--a feat that takes about 1/2 hour. But the view you get is worth it! The town hall is very colorful, and in general the city is great to just walk around in. If you go during December, be sure to visit the Christmas Market.
