  1. No, biology is only half of who you are, your environment being the other half. Aside from that I generally disagree with Freud on principle, as he was a sexist, crazy, s*x obsessed cocaine-addict, who based most of his theories off of a few rich, white, European women. Additionally any theory of his that was correct had an incorrect basis. Sorry, that was my little Freud rant, had to be done.


  2. Overstatement.

    What differences between men and women? (I didn't take the quote to be referring to THAT anatomy.)

    PEOPLE vary; individuals of each s*x vary much more than any summary statistics between the two groups.

    If he WAS talking about s*x, remember he lived when women's options were much more restricted than now; so it would be less true today.

    Uh, it doesn't "describe" anything; it's a generalization (an over-generalization).

    In broader terms, there are things that are inborn: talents, some facets of personality. But that isn't "destiny" -- there's all the stuff that happens to us, and the stuff we do, too.
