  1. sounds like they are trying to cut down on xmas gift refunds and exchanges

  2. they dont want people to exchange x-mas gifts i guess

they are pushing us to re-gifting lol

  3. Many stores are resorting to this tactic as there are shoppers who use the store's money to gift.   As an example, they buy two gifts, and the one not wanted by the receivor is returned, usually not in fully sellable condition. THIS is the part where the store loses money.  If the items were returned sellable, then the store could resell the item, but most are NOT returned in sellable condition.  When this happens the store takes a LOSS.

Stores have been coming to this decision for a long time especially on holiday merchandise.  What are they supposed to do with a holiday sweater?  Hang on to it for another year and try to sell it?  I think we shall see a lot of stores with the very same policies in the very near future.

  4. hi, that is for Christmas ornaments trees etc. i also had to ask this one, so i immediately asked the store manager, he said, too many people return the tree ornaments after the holidays, also trees so this will prevent the loss in sales and this type of merchandise returns, wanna hear a good one? safeways has a return policy, one sales clerk said she had to refund 100% on a turtkey, the customer returned the carcus saying the turkey was bad, they ate it all, and got the money, go figure!

anyway, that is the only reson for that sing at wal-mart,
