Well about a month ago i signed up to join the Marine corps to do my part for the the U.S. So i decided that the Marine corps will be the best bet knowing that they are the 911 call for the U.S and the toughest branch to get into. i show great respect to all U.S military branches, air force, navy, marines, army. just recently i signed up for the Marines, i have not sworn in yet, i had a appointment to go to mepps to take the ASVAB, get sworn in and get my physical about 3 weeks ago, i canceld it because i was a little unsure about the Marines. the reason why was because i have been talking to a few navy recruiters and many navy vets and i became very interested in the navy. now i know that navy boot camp is a joke compared to the Marines but i was planning on joining the navy SEALs. I know the training is 6 months of brutality but im very determined to finish. Mind over matter. But i would love to join the Navy if possible because i did sign the papers for the Marine Corps, But i have not sworn in. If i cant do so it would not be a big problem because i still love the MARINES. the few and the proud. So any help will be great. thanks

  1. Go to the Navy recruiting office and fill out a Mepcom form 680 (service change form) and all of your info will now go to the Navy's records. Even though I think you should join the Air force and become Para rescue.

  2. If you haven't even taken the ASVAB, there would be no problem joining the Navy, assuming they would take you. Tell the Marines you have changed your mind, and pursue the Navy.

    Semper Fi!

  3. Well then no problem. Go over to the Navy recruiting station, and tell them  you want to join, take the ASVAB and enlist in DEP. Do it! Go to http://www.mynavyonline.com for more help I recommended it.

    GO NAVY!

  4. I agree with Mathew, Join the Navy
