Question:

Signed up to do the Avon walk but can't walk now. Should I tell my sponsors?

I don't want to necessarily lie but I signed up to walk in the Avon walk and raised all my money. But knee and hip injuries are not allowing me to walk now. Should I be honest with my contributors or just don't say anything? I feel bad b/c they all gave me money and don't want them upset and disappointed. I'm planning on volunteering instead to at least be a part of it. Thanks.

  1. I'd tell them, I think most people would still want to donate the money anyway...

  2. You should tell them because if they find out, they will never trust you again.  Most of the people are going to tell you to keep the money anyway.
