“Signing Josh is going to have a big, big impact on the lineup," says Albert Pujols
The Los Angeles Angels slugger Albert Pujols is appreciating the signing of star hitter Josh Hamilton. He has recently talked to the media and told reporters that how good Hamilton will prove for the Angels in the next season onwards.
“I was shocked. I won't lie to you, It speaks highly on the organization. It shows how badly the Angels and Mr. Moreno want to win and bring a championship back to Anaheim. That's huge. I'm blessed to have the opportunity to be on the same ballclub as one of the best hitters in the game,” Pujols told USA TODAY Sports and explained in detail.   
He added, "Signing Josh is going to have a big, big impact on the lineup."
Pujols, who joined the Los Angeles Angels in the last Major League Baseball season, is also a great player and knows the importance of any good hitter in the team. Pujols hit 30 home runs last season along with a consistent hitting average of .285, 105 RBIs and .343 OBP. He also possesses good career numbers of .325 hitting average along with 475 home runs, 1434 RBIs and .414 OBP.
For Hamilton, Angels’ general manager Jerry Dipoto also says, "Josh really makes our lineup look imposing, If these guys stay healthy and produce the way they're capable of producing, that is a heck of an offense, one through nine.”
Hamilton joined the Angels recently and signed a $125 million deal. He last player for the Texas Rangers. After filing for free agency, he did receive some offers from other leading Major League teams but he and his agent decided to join the Angels.
Hamilton played consistently in the last Major League outing and secured good numbers. He showed great commitment and went persistent on .285 hitting average along with 43 homers, 128 RBIs and .354 OBP.
Overall Hamilton also possesses good career track record of hitting at an average of .304 along with 161 home runs, 553 RBIs and .363 OBP. Experts believe that Josh Hamilton’s new beginning with the Los Angeles Angels will be a great sign for both sides.
