I'm trying to sign out of my school(North Hollywood High) but i need a reason to sign out, otherwise they wont let me. I want to get my General Education Diploma instead of my high school diploma to go to college. Any reasons to sign me out? Please no silly answers. Thank you.

  1. i wouldn't do it personally. finish your school and get your high school degree. you'll be in for better opportunities for college and for jobs too

  2. What is your "actual" reason for signing out? If it is a decent enough reason use that. If it's not then you probably shouldn't quit high school. That is the reason they make it hard for you to sign out. If you really don't have a good reason you really shouldn't do it...yeah high school sucks but it's only 4 years. Plus, I hear getting a GED is harder and more of a pain in the a** then just graduating from high school. It's also harder to get into colleges and get a job. Trust me you will regret it....UNLESS, you have a valid reason to do so!

  3. GEDs are harder to get than a HS diploma, but they mean less on college aplications and to employers. There is a certin trait that both look for in thier students and employees. That is to stick with somthing. I do not employ quiters and I have never approved a transfer from a quiter. I give both to people that show they can stay with it to the end.
