Signs that a guy friend likes you?

Best mate is male, I work with him as well. What kind of signs are there that he likes me?

These have happened:

* Stares at me when he don't realise I can see him, from the corner of my eye.

* Always tries to make me laugh

* Goes out of his way to chat to me

* Eye contact for unusual amounts of time

* Hates me lookin at other guys, tries to tease me about it

* Looks very uncomfortable when we are out if a guy hits on me

* Buys me little gifts, even if just a btl of water

* Always offers me lifts.

Am I right to think he see's me in a different way than just friendly?

IN MY OPPINON
*He is always willing to help you even the most rediculis or difficult request
*He no stop stares at you when your talking a quiz in school.
*Theres no telling how a guy feels about you but here is one more thing, he is always looking for a good reason NOT to leave
