Silber nitrate and sodium chloride solutions are mixed. how many moles of silver nitrate...?

how many moles of silver nitrate are needed to completely react with 0.327 mole of sodium chloride?

what would the formula for this equation be? ): I really don't understand.

  1. AgNO3 + NaCl --> AgCl + NaNO3

    Net-Ionic: Ag + Cl --> AgCl


  2. NaCl + AgNO3 ----AgCl(s) + NaNO3

    Silver chloride is insoluble ( has a Ksp ~2 X 10-8) so it would fall out of solution as a whitish solid ...to completely consume all the Cl-1 anion....you would need the same # of moles as NaCl since they react 1:1 = 0.327 moles
