Why is silica in the supplement Endothil CR?

The directions say to chey slowly in mouth for 30 seconds, does the silica cut the mouth to activate faster?

Silica and silicates are often added to powdered things or things that need to dissolve because they help them become powdery/stay powdery.

Theres different kinds of silica, the most harmful ones are the synthetic ones which mainly have a construction or commercial use. Usually silica in edible products is extracted from horsetail and it helps to promote the body's absorption of calcium, an important component in tissue repair and bone and cartilage formation.
