Silicone to be banned in Canada??

Dun-dun-dun!!!

If it is banned in Canada, and if US follows suit, how will this effect women's self-image?

It won't, not to any great extent. There are implants available that don't require silicone. But maybe this will give Canadian women the hint that being beautiful shouldn't require unsafe risks. I leave American women out of my answer because what happens in Canada is rarely followed suit by the U.S. It's almost always the other way around.
