please i need help to get rid of siliverfish but haven't got any money x x

sprinkle some talcum powder under your carpets around the outside,if no carpets between floor boards,if no floor boards use shake and vac.

Hi.. Dettol anti-bacterial surface cleanser.. kills them instantly & prevents them from venturing wherever you spray it. do along the skirtings in your kitchen & bathroom as they tend to like damp dark warm areas like under baths etc

Google howtogetridosftuff.com. There is a trap there you might want to try using a jar flower and water and some masking tape

Is the problem inside or outside?  What climate do you live in?  If you're in a tropical climate, good luck getting rid of them completely.  Even if you use A/C and a dehumidifier, some are going to sneak in through any crack on the outside of your home, (make sure you have caulking around cable TV, electricity wiring, etc.)  or when you open the door to bring in groceries.  If you don't have pets, boric acid along the floorboards behind furniture and inside cabinets helps a lot.  There is also a natural product called 'earth dust' that's a very fine powder that emaciates silverfish and even fleas.  I live in the southeast, so I feel your pain.

Silverfish usually like moisture so turning off the A/C might help. =)

Unfortunately Silverfish live and breed in places that are normally moist, dark, and warm areas, and come out at night.

There isn't anything you can do unless you are prepared to spend some money in treating the problem by chemicals, and curing the dampness where they are breeding, and they do breed in numbers.

It shouldn't cost a lot, but the longer you leave it the more the infestation will get worse.
