Question:

Silk flowers/plants, do they really look like the real thing???

I've been looking at silk flowers and plants online and they claim they could fool a horticulturist, which I doubt. I would much rather have the real deal, but I live in a studio with one big window, but no direct sunlight. I'm looking to get a bamboo or Asian type of a tree and then some flower arrangements. Does anyone own silk flowers, plants, trees? I'm willing to spend more money on the best. I hate the look of cheap fake flowers, they look so tacky to me. I want realistic looking silk plants. So do they really look as good as they sound? Anyone have a good company in mind that you've used before? Thanks in advance.

  1. yes if you get the expensive ones they look very real and if you get the flower/plant spray then they will really play good.

  2. Don't know if they would fool a horticulturalist, but certainly they look real.. until they get old and dusty looking.  Of course, it depends on how they're made as to how real they look.
