Sergei Silkin has insisted that he is waiting in the wings to return to the football field after being sacked as Dynamo Moscow’s manager and has showered praise on Zenit St. Petersburg’s Hulk
News in Russian media suggest that Sergei Silkin plans to return to the game this January after highlighting Lokomotiv Moscow as his preferred destination to his firends.
The 51-year-old coach, who left Dynamo stadium after being sacked by the management due to the Moscow-based club’s below par finish last season, has denied the rumours linking him to the Railroaders after confirming that
he has not been approached by any Russian Premier League club.
Silkin insisted that he will announce his decision himself if he will be heading to a new club in the near future. The Russian national, meanwhile, told that he denied a chance to remain at Dynamo as their sporting director
before being sacked by the management.
“I cannot share any information. I do not know, is difficult to say where I will be heading. But when I take a particular decision, then I'm sure I will let you know. Only time will tell which way I will go. Believe me, I'm
not bored. I am having a good time with my family.” The former Dinamo Minsk man was quoted as saying.
The Russian tactician went on to admit that he is itching to get back on the field after spending a few months on the sidelines.
“I have been offered a post at Dynamo. Yuri Isayev suggested me to take control of the academy but then I think that it was not an appropriate time. So, I refused. But now I am ready to listen to offers with great interest.”
He concluded.
Speaking on Zenit St. Petersburg’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436, Silkin insisted that the defending champions made an excellent signing this summer and backed the Brazilian International to score more goals for the Russian outfit in the near future.
Hulk, who is currently sidelined after sustaining a fresh injury while playing a league tie against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Rostov-c39192 at Petrovsky stadium, is expected to return later this month.
