Silly mistake?

i pushed my neighbour and have been charged with sec39 assault i have a bad history of violence my last time i was in trouble was 5 half years ago whot do you think my outcome will be i am unemployed and in my 40ts

You are going down my friend. It was not a mistaake it was a loss of control. Perhaps you should book yourself onto an anger management course in the hope that it will look good in Court as an attempt to learn to  contol your temper. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act may help  but your brief will adivise

Countersue. Any witnesses? Say he pushed you first; the outcome would be self defence.

No "trouble" over 5 years and just a push (no punches right?)... you'll likely get probation (12-24 months or so) and madatory anger management classes.

and a fine I'm sure.

But jail time? I doubt it. Not unless you're on probation now, you aren't are you!?
