  1. The oultine version of the printout will only have the text you have written on your slides. It will not show pictures or images, just the text. And it will seperate them in order of your slides. The format is just like an outline.

    The text is standard in black and white. That is the purpose of having the print-out in outline form. To print this way, just go to

    File-> Print

    Then, under the "Print What" drop-down menu on the bottom-left, select the "Outline View" Option.

    Finally, click "Print"

  2. Create or open the presentation you want to print.

    In normal view (view: A way of displaying the contents of a presentation and providing the user with the means to interact with it.), click the Outline tab in the left pane, and then on the Standard toolbar, click Expand All  to show just the slide titles or all levels of text. (If Expand All isn't on the toolbar, click the arrow at the end of the toolbar, point to Add or Remove Buttons, point to Standard, and then click Expand All.

    Do one of the following:

    Send to Microsoft Word

    On the File menu, point to Send To, and then click Microsoft Word.

    Under Page layout in Microsoft Word, click Outline only.

    Click OK.

    On the File menu, click Print.

    Print from Microsoft PowerPoint

    On the File menu, click Print Preview.

    In the Print What box, click Outline View.

    On the Print Preview toolbar, click Print .

  3. the outline at the side, on the left side...it shows all the slides but in small versions....
