Manchester City’s midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601 believes that Manchester United are more than likely going to be feeling the pressure going into their upcoming game on Monday night.
City and United are set to take on each other in the Premier League on Monday and with just three points keeping United on top of City, the title race could have another twist in it, should City win.
At the moment, the Red Devils are being deemed the favourites to come out on top at the end of the current Premier League season, but given the fact that City already beat United by six goals to one earlier in the season, nothing can be said for certain.
Silva, when talking about the upcoming game is quoted to have said: "We have improved tremendously these last few weeks and we arrive in a very good moment to the derby.”
"Home advantage is important but we have to remember that we lost the derby in the FA Cup and that should be a good learning lesson not to be anxious and do things without thinking. We have to be intelligent to avoid mistakes.”
The midfielder then went on to talk about the atmosphere that would be present in the ground during the game. He also admitted that the key for City going into the game would be to play their best football and avoid getting distracted. Should the team do
just this, they could easily go on and win the game.
"The atmosphere in the ground will be fantastic. We will have the people behind us because everybody at City wants to win the league and even more by defeating our arch rivals."
"The key on Monday will be on us. If we are as strong as usual at home and we control the game's timing, United will be very uncomfortable and won't be able to play to their usual level. That's what we have to do”
