The agent of the Brazilian international has quashed rumours that Thiago Silva’s absence would make the club a less formidable outfit for the upcoming campaign.
Many have stated that the Rossoneri have made a grave mistake in parting ways with the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029, they offered a mammoth 60 million Euros for the pair.
Even though Silvio Berlusconi had initially rejected the Parisian outfit’s approaches for their star defender, with the club turning away the 47 million Euros placed on the table by the French Ligue 1 outfit. However, owing to their debt structure and the
amount of debt that the Diavolo are under, the repeated advances of the Parisian outfit ultimately broke the Milanello resistance.
Paolo Tonietto, Silva’s agent, went on to state that the club’s existence was not because of the defender, and that the club would remain to be of great importance even when big stars moved to other clubs. He went on to state:
“Milan are a serious outfit. With or without http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-c34888 Silva, as well as any other player, they will not stop being a great club. They have great fans and great directors.”
Tonietto went on to explain the attraction of the Ligue 1 outfit, and stated that they have a grand project at hand which they want to fulfill at all costs, which is why they are making such big investments in a time of great recession; which tells us that
the club are really ambitious about the future.
He was further quizzed about his client’s desire to make a return to the Serie A in the future. He went on to state:
“Thiago wants to play the last season of his career with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858. He would have no problem, however, in wearing the Rossoneri shirt again. That is some time away for now though…”
Many have bemoaned the sale of the Brazilian central defender who has arguably been the best player of the Milanello team besides Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was the leading goal scorer of the Italian Serie A, with 28 goals to his name in the Italian Championship.
