  1. It is not unusual for fish not to eat in the first 48 hours. They are still adjusting to their new surroundings. Fish will be fine not eating every day in fact they can go about a week without being fed (not recommended of course). If after three days it still isn't eating try feeding it some live brine shrimp or something!

  2. How long has this been going on for?  What size tank do you have it in?  Have you checked your water chemistry lately?  What filtration are you running in the tank?  In order to figure what might be causing a lack of appetite, these things need to be told, as well as what is it's overall size?

There are several reasons an Arowana might not eat, but it's also something you shouldn't stress too deeply over if this is just a few days.  If this starts to go into a week or two, AND you've checked out your water, you have the proper sized tank, and there are no tank mates, then it's time to start worrying.  I'll check back in on this one.

Oh I agree Michelle, however, a 45 gallon tank just simply isn't going to work at all.  Either the tank being new, or the tank size is going to kill that Arowana long before it reaches juvenile size and age.
