  1. Dont mind jon,hes just mean, its just getting used to the new tank, mine hates krill but try getting some live crickets,i let mine work on instinct to adapt to its surroundings.

    Hope i helped

  2. You just got him! Give him some time to adjust to his new tank! If he is not eating by then end of the week then you have a problem.

In a few months when that fish is bigger...say by by to those barbs!

  3. You don't have to post a whole new question to respond to your earlier one, just use the edit.  Betta is totally off and missed quite a few things.

You're water chemistry might be fine right now, but it won't be much longer.  You have your fish in a tank where it's not cycled out, and the ammonia compounds ARE going to kill it.  The eating isn't even something to worry about at this point, you have an uncycled tank.

Not to mention that tank, and the tank you plan to get as well are not nearly big enough.  In the Amazon basin, these are 48 inch adult fish.  You can't even consider keeping these fish unless you plan out a 300-500 gallon tank or pond.

Your Arowana is most likely still adjusting to the new tank, but that new tank is going to kill it.  You best get some Prime like PRONTO as this will at least oxidize the future comming ammonia and then a few weeks later, nitrite to keep him alive.  However, this is all totally moot if you can't get a 300-500 gallon tank for this fish, you're just wasting our time.

Don't mind flash, they are just plain outright ignorant and have not nearly enough experience with Arowana to know this is NOT a proper sized tank.  Their input is only 25% correct.  This is acclimation, but you have far more serious issues at hand then this person even cares to acknowledge.
