Silver in Tijuana?

Everyone tells me you can get silver cheaper in Tijuana how cheap is that?

Don't do it.  It will stay silver for about a week.  Then your neck will be green.

only buy in tijuana if you know what you buying...otherwise you will get "alpaca" which looks a lot like silver but is next to worthless.

and like the other person said, if you do go...only go to reputable places.

also remember, silver is not one of those things that varies in price too much from country to country. its price fluctuates along with the stock market and currancies. so you will only get a deal on the labor. which can be substantial!!!

The lower price, the worse quality.

Go to a reputable jeweler. It will be stamped sterling and it won't be cheap. If you want cheap, go to Wal Mart.
