Silverbill finches' egg habits?

Question

There are a few questions that I cannot find the answers to about Silverbill Finches:

-Will they lay eggs without a nest?

-How often do they lay eggs?

I just want to know as much as possible about their egg habits. Thank you.

I believe that they do build nests for the eggs, but they aren't picky about the material that the nest is made of.  Don't quote me on that though.

I don't know how often they lay eggs though.

That's all I know on this subject.
