Has anyone heard of this breeder before or has anyone gotten one of their dogs? If you have any helpful information that would be great.

  1. You've got some great answers... let me add to them...

Considering these dogs are not papered it is highly likely that somewhere in the background someone bred some Weimariner in.

Why on earth pay $$ for a dog that is such a poor example of the breed that is not even an allowable color?

  2. Hadn't heard of them and after looking at their websites i still wouldn't buy from them. Silvers are nothing special as they are just classified as Chocolates - secondly these dogs aren't papered so there is no guarantee they are 100% and fro the price they want - h**l no. Also they allow pick up at 6 weeks of age - no reputable breeder does this.

You can find much better breeders through the National breed club - brb with the link

As Nekkid pointed out breeding for color alone is NEVER a good thing.

  3. Those dogs aren't "silver" they are diluted chocolate, which means that they aren't responsible or reputable breeders.

No lab, English or American, has the color "silver".

Not a breeder I'd poke with a ten foot pole.

  4. Not a good breeder.

Labs dont come in "silver"..  they come in Black, Chocolate, or yellow.

Someone purposly breeding for a color, expecially one that does not fit the breed standard.. is not breeding quality animals.

I see nothing on their site about showing, working or even genetic health testing..  just that they are breeding for an appearance and color.  I dont even see any CH dogs listed in the pedigrees!

The problem with breeding towards color is that you dont know what health issues you are breeding towards as well.  Some health problems are linked to certain colors
