Organisers at Silverstone are trying to get approval to the refurbishment of Silverstone. A new infield section is being built as well as a widening of the start-finish straight. Grandstands between Woodcote and Copse corners are being moved back to allow an improved spectator facilities. These improvements come after they agreed a 17 year contract to show Formula one at the Northamptonshire track.
