Silverware likely to bounce back in Bet At Blue Square On Your Mobile Handicap at Ayr
With no real pacesetter in the line-up for Bet At Blue Square On Your Mobile Handicap, a chance can be taken on Silverware, who just needs a slice of luck to come out of his lean patch. The 4-year-old is all set to show his
magic in the 1-mile meeting, scheduled to take place at Ayr on Thursday, May 31st.
Among the participants are: Ventura Sands, Another For Joe, Fieldgunner Kirkup, Botham, Silverware, Retreat Content, Royal Straight, Heezararity and Sabratha. The ultimate champion will walk away with a cash prize worth £2,264.
Silverware has been going through a bad time since the start of this season. After finishing seventh at Doncaster, the four-year-old failed to improve his work, when ran at Lingfield earlier this month.
The Linda Stubbs-trained certainly failed to do anything special in his last two appearances, but one cannot disregard the fact that he faced unfavourable conditions on both occasions.
With slightly harder surface at Ayr, the bay and brown gelding is in better position to put his campaign back on the winning ways. Moreover, he is coming from the lower grade and a change in the class will help him regain his
confidence.
On the other hand, Ventura Sands is currently heading the market following a decent show at Beverley earlier this month. However, the 4-year-old likes soft ground, which is not available at Ayr today. So, he might find it difficult.
Another For Joe is an interesting candidate. The 4-year-old is coming back from a long lay-off, making his first journey for the new stable.
He was previously trained by Donald McCain, who could not guide him to any success in the previous two seasons. Currently trained by Jim Goldie, the bay gelding has a good chance of opening his account.
Botham was quite impressive last season, but has been performing poorly since the start of this season. Similarly, Fieldgunner Kirkup failed to do well on his seasonal debut earlier this month.
The odds are showing a different picture, but according to our calculations, Silverware has an obvious chance of doing well in this class. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
