Do you think it was wise for Sir Alex to sell Silvestre to Arsenal?

He did block Liverpool from buying Heinze 2 seasons ago...

gabriel heinze is still very young whereas silvestre only has about 2 seasons left before he retires. thats probably why fergie dont see selling silvestre to arsenal as a threat.

plus in the history of footie, liverpool are considered man utd's main rivals more than arsenal. so its not as big a deal selling a player to arsenal than it is selling to liverpool.

Ferguson is a cocky b*****d, he thinks liverpool is better than arsenal (which they are) but what he will do is sell silvestre to arsenal thinking that they will not be a threat. Were as heinze is better than silvestre thats why he didnt sell him to liverpool. Henze gets forward and has good free kicks and better crosses... Also silvestre is french so he will love arsenal.
