team’s performance in the second half.
Simeone felt that his side were better before the interval as everything went their way. However, he feels his team could not keep the same momentum in the second-half.
“I the first half, everything went as we wanted. We were very good. But in the second half, not so.”
The Argentine explained how they came into this game and thinks the players executed the plan effectively and as a result of that is very happy with the outcome of the game.
“We sought the fastest way to win and were very effective, so I have to be happy with the result.”

kicks would have been awarded.
“I have to say that if Messi or http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 received the fouls Falcao got this evening, then there would have been a lot more free kicks.”
Moreover, Getafe boss, Luis Garcia, had different interpretation of the game. He believes his team were better in the second half and played poorly in the first period of the game.
Garcia felt his players did not react well to Atletico’s aggression and domination before the interval.
“The first half was very poor. None of my players looked interested. But in the second half we reacted really well.”
“The opening period we looked shy and timid. Atletico dominated us physically – overwhelming us in duels and second balls."
