  1. They were both ugly as sin.

  2. i think they were both ruthless  and non caring people.

  3. yeah that dude with the piercings ..........  yup   what a f*g

by the way i don't know any similarities or differences

  4. Elizebeth the 1st of scots and 2nd of England.

thats my opinion anyway but a court ruling said that she should be Elizebeth the second of Scots as there has already been an Elizebeth the 1st, if there is another James who comes to the throne (doubtful) he will be James the 8th or something like that because Scotlands already had a few.

  5. Elizabeth I was queen of England from 1559-1603, while Elizabeth II is still the queen of England right now. They are not related at all. Elizabeth I had power over England, and Elizabeth II did not (she is only there to show).

  6. Both:

    1. Did not expect to be queen due to people in front of them.  Elizabeth I was only queen after death of two hildless siblings and Elizabeth II's father only became king as his elder brother abdicated.

    2. Popular support among subjects

    3. Protestant

    4. Duty in role as a servant to the country taken seriously by them.

    5. Daughters of second sons

    6. Fifth Monarch of respective dynasties (Tudor and Saxe-Coburg -renamed Windsor)

    7. Monarchs in time of remarkable change in country's power (see first difference below)

    Differences (just a few):

EI reign covered significnat rise in Global power of England

EII reign covered significant retreat from empire

    EI not married childless

    EII maried with heirs

    EI Absolute Monarch

    EII Constitutional Monarch

Lorene: Elizabeth II is NOT the queen of England.  England ceased to be a separate kingdom under the first Act of Union in 1707 when England and Scotland became Great Britain.

  7. The similarities are they're both named Elizabeth, and work hard at what they do.

The differences are Elizabeth I was an absolute monarch, and the present queen is more of a figurehead with little real political power. Elizabeth was the Virgin Queen, never married - while the present one has a large family.

Also, the first Elizabeth never traveled outside of England.

They're not very similar at all.
