Similarities in the crucible?

So I'm writing an essay on the book The Crucible and i need to know 3 major similarities or 3 major differences between the book and the movie (with Daniel day Lewis and Wynoinna Ryder). Please please please give me examples!!!!!!

  1. It's been awhile.  The differences aren't that great because Arthur Miller wrote the screenplay of the movie.  If I remember correctly the big differences are  the opening and closing scenes and the scene in which John and Abigail talk to each other.  


  2. Usually a lot of the details of the book are missing from the movie.  The plot will be the same, but many details will be left out of the movie, and of course many scenes will have to be left out.

    I have not ever read The Crucible, but there are a number of online study guides, and quite a few other resources on the web that can help you with this novel.  Most of them have quite a bit of good information.  Have a look at these sites, and you should get some help with your work.  If you do a search here in the Yahoo Answers search window you will find many other sources of help as quite a few questions have been asked here about The Crucible.
