After the first day, Dyson’s score was two-over par. He completed the 70 par stroke in 72 shots. Dyson did much better on the second day.
On the front nine, he was able to card a bogey on the third and two birdies on the seventh and ninth hole. His back nine was the best set of nine holes till now, as he carded two birdies on the eleventh and seventeenth hole. These made his score three-under
par for the day and his total score one-under par.
Dyson is happy with his game. In an interview after the second day, he said, “It's always nice to play the weekend at the Open, it's the best tournament in the world”.
“I didn't drive it very good yesterday and had to really scramble. But I managed to get the ball in the positions I wanted to today,” he added.
Dyson finished the second day tied on the fifteenth position with twelve other players. He is nine strokes behind the leader, Brandt Snedeker. Snedeker had a magnificent ten-under par after the two days.
