Simon Katich backs Shaun Marsh’s return in international cricket – Cricket News Update
Australia’s discarded left-handed batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SE-Marsh-c2470’s recent performances in the country’s domestic cricket and feels that the stylish batsman deserves another chance at the highest stage of the game.
Having done extremely well at the national level and catching the eyes of sporting analysts all around the world by performing out of his skin in the opening season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Marsh made his international debut in 2008.
The 29-year-old cricketer however, has so far failed to cement his place in the Australian side for multiple reasons. Marsh has struggled with fitness issues as well apart from inconsistent performances with the bat, although the left-hander has three international centuries under his belt.

Katich, who himself is a veteran of 56 Tests, 45 One Day Internationals (ODI) and three T20s, believes that Marsh is one of the most talented players in the country and hopes that the 29-year-old cricketer will make a mark in international cricket in the coming years.
He added, “We know that when he is in full confidence and playing well he is one of the most damaging players in the format in the country. At 29 years of age there is still plenty of cricket in front of him so if he is hungry and still wants it and puts runs on the board in all forms of the game.”
