Robert Joske, the manager of the Australian player, Simon Katich, has compared the public support, which Katich has received after losing his contract with the Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Harold-William-Stephenson-c61707 Waugh’s case.
The Australian public had shown massive support for the former captain Waugh, when CA dropped him from the team.

''The pulse of the nation is evident,'' Joske said.
''I can't tell you the number of phone calls and messages Simon and I have received over the past 24 hours. It's just amazing.'' He added.

The 41-year-old Slater also slammed the current selection process of CA.
Many people have also advised Katich to file a case against the decision and in this regard, Joske met Michael Harmer, who is a lawyer in Australia.
''I laid down the issues and the advice I received was that yes, Simon had a very good case and that, in their estimation, he would win. In fact, they really liked the details.'' Joske expressed.
Paul http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hayes-c62085, who is a barrister and sports law specialist in Melbourne, feels that Katich can get some compensation.
"However, if they've acted in a way in which they've discriminated against him predominantly on the basis of age, he might have some regress for compensation under the federal and also NSW discrimination act,'' Hayes said.
