Simon Kjaer expected to stay despite Juventus and Roma interest- Bundesliga news

According to reports, the player wants European football which is not possible with the German side and wants a move to Italy.
Mikkel Beck, Simon’s agent, claimed that there has not been any official contact from either Juventus or Roma for the player and stated that even if there is, the clubs will have to talk to Wolfsburg. He added that in most probability
the player will remain at the Volkswagen Arena next season.
“If the player is liked and he is an objective then Juventus and Roma must first speak with Wolfsburg. No proposals have arrived from Roma or Juventus and I know Wolfsburg are relying on Kjaer. I think he will stay with Wolfsburg,”
he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Beck added that Kjaer has a contract which will keep him at the club until 2014 and he is likely to honour it. The agent played down any reports that the defender will leave by claiming that the he is a very important player for
the club and Magath will make sure that he goes nowhere.
“He has a contract until 2014 and he is happy there, but if an offer comes then it will be down to Wolfsburg to decide what to do. If things develop we will sit at the table and speak, but last year Wolfsburg made an important
investment in Kjaer and it is unlikely they will want to lose him,” he concluded.
Simon Kjaer made 34 appearances for Wolfsburg last season and scored one goal.
