man admitted that he has been in the same situation with the national team also and is relishing the competition at his new club.

the manager and the club have denied any such reports and are confident that both the players will be fighting for a number one spot.

a place with the likes of Reina and Brad Jones is great.

and it's not only the position of the goalie where there is competition. It's every single position on the field,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the Belgian international added that only 11 players will start for the side and the others will give their best to challenge them for their respective spot.
“There are only 11 players who can play and it is something that is normal with being a football player. Competition can only make you as an individual better and let you perform better. It can only be a positive thing,” he concluded.
Simon Mignolet made 40 appearances for Sunderland last season and was one of their standout performers. The goalkeeper is rated highly and at 25, he may be a bargain deal for the Merseyside giants.
