  1. Monday - Swimming

    Tuesday - Movies

    Wednesday - Crafts

Thursday - Game day (board games and video games)

    Friday - Sports day

  2. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't have subjects. What if the 6 year old doesn't like them? It should be something both of you want to do.

My advice? Bring a Kid Kit. My daughter read these books called the Baby Sitter's Club and they brought Kid Kits to their baby-sitting jobs. It had games, books, crafts, toys, etc. for the child to do. You don't have to go out and buy all new stuff, just use stuff from home. Or if, you need to, go to a dollar store. Near where I live there is this place and EVERYTHING is under $5. My 12 and 16 year old baby-sit and when they need to stock up their Kid Kits, they go there.

    Good luck!

  12. I would not be so specific about themes. I would have an hour set aside at the end of the day that you can do a special activity. So the rest of the day play normally, sing, dance, do arts & crafts, watch movies, play in the sprinklers, go on walks, etc.

Then each afternoon give her a choice of a few different 'special' activities to look forward to.

Trying to plan a whole day of one activity is going to be too much. 6 year olds dont have that long of attention spans. An hour is plenty on one activity. Trust me! 6 year olds like to pretend, so make sure you allow her to be part of the planning.

Some of the theme ideas others mentioned are great - choose a few of those and think of short, easy, fun activities instead.

    Have fun!
