Simple Biology Practical Q, please help...?

Okay, when i prepared a temerary mount of onion peel and cheek cells, my teacher said it was good but there were air bubbles in it.

Soon, i jhave a practical exam so i want to know how to prevent air bubbles entering the slide.

I asked other people and they said:

>I put too much water

>I put too little water

>i have to put the slide slowly.

Please help, i have no clue what to do...

  1. Make sure when you drop the water on that there is no bubbles in the water. The very first thing you should do is get your water and let it sit there so the bubbles will dissipate. And when you use the dropper make sure you squeeze it before you put it in the water so you're not making extra bubbles in the water.

    When you squeeze the dropper over your mount maker sure the water doesn't drop through the air and splash on the slide. And when you place the cover on, do it at an angle and slowly lower it down so you don't trap any air.
